First, you have complete control over your gifts, giving exactly what you want and spreading it over the year and because each gift is processed by the bank or credit card company rather than the Mission, more of each donation goes to help those in need.
This not only saves us time, paper and postage, but it also allows the Mission to do more in providing food, shelter and recovery programs to those in need.

To cancel your monthly pledge, please contact our Development department by email at development@opendoormission.com or call us at 585-325-3284. Please call us before your next billing cycle so we can ensure you will not be charged!
If you know your credit card has or is expiring please contact us. Your monthly pledge will remain active even with an expired credit card. To ensure your monthly donation stays active and updated, call us with your new card information or update your credit card on your account portal.
Yes, you can! Go into your donor portal and add a new card. Just make sure to make your new credit card your default option as your old card or payment option will remain in your account. To start a pledge you have two options.
1. While donating online you can click to give your gift under the Door of Hope Club which will automatically enroll you into our monthly giving program. You do not need to be a Door of Hope member to be a monthly giver. You may designate or give as-needed funds monthly to the mission. To ensure you are making a monthly transaction, select the proper program you wish to give too. Once done under HOW OFTEN WOULD YOU LIKE TO GIVE? please make sure to click recurring monthly or quarterly to ensure monthly payments.
2. If you would like to be a monthly giver, but would like to give monthly through a check or a bank account please call us at 585-325-3284, and we will be happy to help you! Check may be payable to Open Door mission and be sent to 156 Plymouth Ave Rochester NY 14608. If you would like to designate your monthly gift to a specific program, please write which program in the check memo.
Please know our offices are still working on transitioning from working offsite to onsite due to our COVID-19 protocols. We here at the mission take pride in keeping our staff and guests safe and we greatly appreciate you being patient with us.
