Donate Clothing & Essential Items

We rely on clothing and hygiene donations from the community to run our community clothing room. We take all men’s, women’s and children’s clothing all year round for any season and distribute everything at no cost. Your donations give people dignity when they need it most.

Our inventory changes constantly, so what we need today might shift next month, however our most needed items are always hygiene products for both our homeless guests and families in need.

Furniture Donations

We also accept some basic furniture items for families in our transitional housing programs who are moving into permanent housing. These items help people start fresh with the basics they need.

Please call ahead at (585) 454-6696 before bringing furniture donations. We have limited storage space and can only accept items we currently in need.

What We Don’t Need

  • Furniture or mattresses (as needed, pre-approval required)

  • TVs, computers, printers, or electronics (as needed, pre-approval required) 

  • Clothing or shoes with missing buttons, laces, or broken zippers 

  • Large or broken appliances 

  • Small appliances or lamps older than five years

  • Used pillows or bedding with stains 

  • Baby cribs, car seats, or strollers (due to safety regulations) 

  • Opened or expired food, vitamins, or medicine 

  • Weapons, alcohol, or tobacco products 

  • Items with heavy wear, odors, or pet hair 

  • Anything with mold, mildew, or water damage
