Volunteer With Us

Thank you for your willingness to partner with us as we work towards our goal: to glorify God through a Christ-centered ministry that meets the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of hurting people in the greater Rochester area.

Make an Impact

Volunteer Opportunities

We need people who show up. Not because it's easy, but because it matters. Here are the ways you can serve with us. Pick what fits your schedule, your skills, and your heart.

Group Breakfast

This is a group volunteer opportunity for up to six people to purchase, prepare, and serve a hot breakfast for about 85 guests.

Evening Meal

Join us in serving dinner with care and hospitality, preparing meals-to-go and setting tables for our shelter guests.

Pantry Assistant

Help keep our pantry organized and stocked for those in need. Tasks include sorting donations and stocking shelves.

Donation Concierge

Assist donors as they drop off items, ensuring they are welcomed and receive receipts for their contributions.

Clothing Room Attendant

Help sort and organize donated clothing in our clothing room to ensure items are neat, accessible, and ready for distribution.

Clerical Support

Support our development team by assisting with data entry, filing, answering phones, fundraising and event planning.

PB & J Factory

Groups purchase and prepare 70 bagged lunches (about 140 PB&J sandwiches) for our community meal program.

Service Projects

These one-time projects may include cleaning, painting, maintenance or organizing.

Worship/Chapel Service

Provide morning worship for our guests prior to the Sunday service. This helps set a spiritual tone of hope for the day.

Bible Study Leader

Help lead Bible studies for our guests. Volunteers guide Scripture reading and discussion and encourage participation.
